Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is 2021 releases I was excited to read but didn't get to. Not quite 10 this week, but I didn't fully get back into reading until partway through the year.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway. I had a bit of a shock when Empire of the Vampire turned up and I saw how chunky it was. I can see why lots of people didn't get round to it. Once I decided to tackle it, I did enjoy it, though it could have been shorter!
ReplyDeleteI read and enjoyed The Holiday Swap..I thought it'd be the opposite. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/2022-resolutions-and-goals/
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed The Holiday Swap, it was a super fun read. And I have The Library on my TBR as well.

The Library is one I'm hoping to finally read this year. It looks like a very fun book. :)
ReplyDeleteI usually love Jodi Picoult books, but the latest one is one I'm probably going to steer clear of for a while, fiction is my escape from the pandemic, don't want to read about it there too!

I need to get to the Picoult book at some point, too. *Sigh* So many books, so little time...

I read the Jodi Picoult book, but didn't enjoy it very much -- just much too soon for a book so heavily about COVID. I did really like Under the Whispering Door!
ReplyDeleteI just couldn’t get into The Holiday Swap. But On a Night Like This looks great. :)
