Top Ten Tuesday: Books Recently Added to my TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.  This weeks topic is 10 books recently added to your TBR list.

Gracianna
I have always been really interested in WWII for some reason and more recently I have taken to reading more books set during this time.  This one sounded quite unique as it is based in Trini Amador's great-grandmother.

The Night Circus
This one caught my eye quite recently.  I've never read a book set in a circus before and this sounded quite interesting and different so I thought I'd give it a go.

A Wicked Thing (A Wicked Thing, #1)
It's based on Sleeping Beauty.  There was no way that I wouldn't want to read it.

Stardust
I saw the film years ago and loved it.  Only recently remembered that it was based in a book.  Also, a bonus was getting a free copy when I signed up for Kindle.

Antigoddess (Goddess War, #1)
I read Anna Dressed in Blood a few years back and really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd give the Antigoddess series a go.
Reincarnation? This is something different (well I've not read anything about reincarnation before).  I am totally in for reading this. The cover is beautiful as well.

Dead Spots
Don't usually read much horror but the synopsis just drew me into this one.

I studied Biology with a bit of Zoology.  Anything with animals in it I will read.  This one sounds like such a good read and I've seen a few great reviews for it recently.

As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride
The Princess Bride (book and movie) is my favourite!  Of course, I will be reading this!

Another one that I have seen all over the place recently.  I want to find out what all the fuss is about basically.

  1. I had The Night Circus on my TBR for the longest time but then I removed it because I knew I definitely won't be getting to it :S I'm so excited for Confess :D

    1. My TBR list is so long that it will take me years to get through it. There's too many good books out there waiting to be discovered! I've taken to randomly selecting my next read when possible.

    1. It's going to take me years to get through everything on my TBR, but I've just started randomly selecting what I'll read next and it makes choosing so much easier.

  5. Read this one in high school, though I admit I don't remember much of it. "The Night Circus" is also in my TBR pile. Enjoy! Mine: Accused by Lisa Scottoline

    1. Yeah, it is a good book. I enjoyed it more now than I did when I read it back in school. And I can't wait to read confess now, I'm hearing so many good things.

  7. I've read Stardust a few years back, it's good! The book is better than the movie. I'd love to read Night Circus, too! I should include that on my TBR. You've got a great list!

  9. I have really been wanting to read Animal Farm; I think the reason why I haven't gotten around to it is because 1984 left me in a sort of shell-shocked paralysis 0__o I will read it though! :)

    1. I've not read 1984 yet, but it's on the TBR so someday I'll get round to it.

  10. It's been years since I read Animal Farm. I was about 12 and had to read it for school.

I like your TBR list - some great books on there.

    1. I had to read Animal Farm for school too. I liked it so much better reading it now though. Probably because I didn't have to analyse everything.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
