The Sunday Post (7 February)

Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share our news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

It's been quite a quiet week again this week. I've had lots of time to read and even scheduled a few posts. On Thursday, my parents, brother and his girlfriend went off to watch Nitro Circus in Glasgow, so I had the house to myself. I got a ton of blogging done in the peace and quiet and I also watched the remake of Footloose. I actually quite liked it, but obviously, it's not the original but I bet it had a lot of younger people watching the original too. On Friday, I again had the house to myself. So guess what? I got more reading and blogging done!

On Saturday night, I finally went out and socialised for once this week and went to a friends birthday house party. It was a good laugh and we had a hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity. And thankfully, I wasn't feeling to rough on Sunday.

On Sunday, I actually spent time with my brother and his girlfriend. We had a nice drive up the Glens until I started to feel car sick. Then we had Chinese. So all in all it was a good weekend.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is a top ten new to me authors of 2015. I have read so many new to me authors this year and it's been brilliant! I'm not sure if I can limit this list to only 10!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Love Santa to Leave for Me

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is the top ten books I wouldn't mind Santa leaving under my tree. Really I'd welcome all books under the tree but these are ones that I've seen around a lot or recently.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
