Top Ten Tuesday: Books I've Read Because They Were Recommended
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is eight books I read because they were recommended across the blogosphere.
Great list! I didn't do TTT this week, but I think practically every book I read nowadays is because someone on a blog somewhere brought it to my attention! :-)
Quite a few of these are on my TBR because of the blogosphere too- but I haven't read them yet! I need to read Red Queen, My Life Next Door, and DIMILY. I liked City of Bones, but was kind of bored by the end of the series, and I read most of them pre-blogging hahha. I am on the fence about reading The Selection and The DUFF, but DO feel the blogosphere pressure ;) Great list!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is a top ten new to me authors of 2015. I have read so many new to me authors this year and it's been brilliant! I'm not sure if I can limit this list to only 10!
Book Beginnings is a meme hosted every Friday by Rose City Reader where you share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author’s name.
Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by A Daily Rhythm that asks you to choose one of the following prompts to answer: I’m currently reading… Up next I think I’ll read… I bought the following book(s) in the past week… I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)… I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)… I can’t wait to get a copy of… I wish I could read ___, but… I blogged about ____ this past week…
Cool picks! The only one I've read is Did I Mention I Love You? and I liked it, in spite of the whole stepbrother thing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting! I'm glad you enjoyed Did I Mention I Love You? and I agree the stepbrother thing is a bit weird.
DeleteRed Queen looks good, I've been very curious and I have to say that cover is pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely recommend Red Queen. I couldn't put it down!
DeleteThe Mortal Instruments and Red Queen are on my reading list based on lots of blogger recs.
