I literally just commented on another TTT post saying that I read Wild Swans years ago and I remember enjoying it :) I've seen a lot about How to Stop Time by Matt Haig and I'm definitely looking forward to trying it at some point. Great list!

DeleteHistory and historical fiction are two of my favorite genres. Ditto most anything by Michael Morpurgo, including 'An Eagle in the Snow' and 'A Medal for Leroy.' Good list!
ReplyDeleteI love a good historical fiction. War Horse is the only Morpurgo I've read. I really should read more though.

ReplyDeleteAnd I remember seeing Rembrandt's Daughter at the library, but I don't think I ever got around to reading it (alas, just checked the catalog and it's gone now). Nice to see an older YA rec.
I've owned Rembrandt's Daughter since I was a teenager and I reread it so many times back then. I think it must have been the book that started my love of historical fiction.
