Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is a freebie so I'm going to go with books I want to re-read by this time next year.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway. Follow me via Goodreads , Facebook , Bloglovin and Pinterest and also via email to myexpandingbookshelf@gmail.com. Feel fre...
The Book Thief is one of my favourite books!

I loved it the first time I read it, so I'm hoping it will be the same when I re-read it.
DeleteGreat books on your list. I also really enjoyed your topic. Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/12/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-books-of-year.html.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
DeleteI didn't use to re-read, but now I like to do it every so often. I usually try to listen to the audiobook the second time around.
ReplyDeleteI used to re-read all the time before the blog. But haven't been doing so as much as I'd like so thought I'd put this list together for a bit of accountability.
DeleteI read Jurrasic park this year and was pleasantly surprised. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/10-middle-grade-fantasy-books-set-in-winter-and-christmas-book-recommendations/
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it! I can't wait to re-read.
DeleteI don’t re-read a ton, but these are good choices. :)

DeleteI have never read The Book Thief and it IS on my list to read in 2022. https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/12/top-ten-tuesday-free-little-library.html
ReplyDeleteI hope you do get round to reading it this year! It's such a good book.
DeleteGreat list! I need to read Fangirl sometime!

Thanks for visiting! I hope you can read Fangirl soon.
DeleteI'm not a big re-reader, but there is one book I re-visit every year (A CHRISTMAS CAROL) and a few other favorites that I re-read every few years. I've actually read 7 from your list and there are a couple I could definitely enjoy re-reading. Good luck with your re-reading goal!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!

I've not been great at re-reading in recent years, but I do want to at least re-read a couple of favourites each year.
DeleteI reread His Dark Materials books a couple of years ago and I highly recommend the audiobooks. I hadn't read them since I was like 10 years old so there was a lot I'd forgotten or just generally didn't pick up on the first time round.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy rereading these books!
My TTT
I have started my re-read of His Dark Materials and really enjoyed them. It think it's been around 15 years since I last read them so it's been nice.
DeleteWhat a great topic for this week's TTT! I wouldn't mind rereading Jurassic Park and Princess Bride myself. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait to reread The Princess Bride as it's a firm favourite, and I have such a soft spot for Jurassic Park.
DeleteI almost never reread, but I could actually see revisiting Fangirl. I loved that book!
ReplyDeleteI've been the same in recent years. But I do enjoy the odd re-read now and again.
DeleteGreat list!
