March Plans (2023)

March is another month with a variety of genres. I do feel like I'm leaning towards easy quick reads such as romance at the moment, but I'm hoping the variety keeps things interesting.

TBR

Non-fiction / Random Colour - Yellow / Newest on TBR

<300 Pages / Classic / Goodreads Choice Winner

Series Continue / Book Club Challenge Pick

I think my main priority for March is to finally read Heart of the Sun Warrior. I was supposed to read that in January but just never had a chance as I was in a funny reading mood. I'm also looking forward to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting.

Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I'd Love to Check in With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish .  This week's topic is the top ten characters you'd like to check in with.  I really struggled with this one, my brain just went blank and I couldn't really think of anyone besides pretty obvious choices.

Discussion: The Problem With My Local Library

I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school.  Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. It's the complete lack of decent books the library has on its system that gets to me. All those months I went to the library last year and I never left with a book that was already on my TBR. I walked around that place looking at my Goodreads trying to find any book on that list. And I couldn't find any at all (except for the Classics). To be honest, I ...
