I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school. Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. And that wasn't an enjoyable experience. However, last summer I started going to my local library again. (I then had to stop again when I got my job.) And unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. Source The availability sucks. I can deal with books I want that are already out on loan. It's the complete lack of decent books the library has on its system that gets to me. All those months I went to the library last year and I never left with a book that was already on my TBR. I walked around that place looking at my Goodreads trying to find any book on that list. Nice books! I chose to do another topic, my top bookstores! Happy reading!📗📘📙
ReplyDeleteWow, I've read some of these and can totally agree they would be difficult to review. Especially Schindler's List. Wow. Great list.
ReplyDeleteWuthering Heights and Handmaid's Tale would definitely be hard to review. I'm excited to read (or listen to) The Storyteller. Love Hypothesis is also on my TBR, I keep hearing good things about it.

ReplyDeleteAh, The Love Hypothesis. Such a good book. A lot of people felt this way.
ReplyDeleteI personally wasn't a big fan of The Love Hypothesis but I can see why it's been getting so much love. Happy reading. My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/books-too-good-to-review-properly/
ReplyDeleteOoh, The Handmaid's Tale is a great choice for this week. I'm so surprised I haven't seen it on any other lists. I just picked up a copy of The Love Hypothesis and the audiobook of Storyteller. I'm excited to get to both soon! Great choices!
