The Sunday Post (26 February)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I had this week off work and it has been great! On Monday, I went round carrying out various errands that needed to be done (going to the bank etc) and I'm so glad I managed it all in one day. It meant I had the rest of the week to do what I wanted! I have watched so many more episodes of Gilmore Girls now.

On Wednesday, I went for a few catch-up cocktails with a friend. I love being off work and being able to do this as I work 9-5 Monday-Friday and the majority of my friends work unsociable hours in a supermarket. It's sometimes tricky to get together - unless it's a Saturday night and those tend to get quite messy!

On Friday, I went on a trip up to Aberdeen to see Busted and do some shopping with my sister-in-law. I ended up buying nothing but food and cocktails all day. I had a few things I needed to buy and couldn't find anything decent. Busted were just amazing though and we got so close to the front. I can't believe I was mere metres away from them! Safe to say I have been feeling a bit sleepy all weekend now.

In blogging news, I reached my two year blogoversary this week! I still can not believe I have managed to stick with this blog for two years. And, to be honest, I really can't picture my life without blogging now. You can find my post all about it, including a giveaway, here.

    1. Thank you!

Stardust is interesting so far, although I vaguely know the story already because of the film.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
