The Sunday Post (27 February 2022)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

It's been another busy-ish week. I spent an extra day in the office to get somethings done meaning I only have to go in once this week. We've also been battered with more wind, and we even has some snow, which has been completely putting me off going anywhere so I spent the majority of the week binging The Witcher and YouTube and reading. We didn't have a great week at the pub quiz either with 22.5/40 which is our lowest score in a wee while.

  1. I’ve seen Maus all over the news, and Grohl’s autobiography has been very popular.

Wishing you a great reading week

  2. Oh! The Storyteller sounds fabulous! I've done the same as you, only in reverse: listened to the audio then just had to read the hard copy. Thank you for sharing such wonderful books!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is a top ten new to me authors of 2015. I have read so many new to me authors this year and it's been brilliant! I'm not sure if I can limit this list to only 10!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Love Santa to Leave for Me

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is the top ten books I wouldn't mind Santa leaving under my tree. Really I'd welcome all books under the tree but these are ones that I've seen around a lot or recently.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway. Follow me via  Goodreads ,  Facebook ,  Bloglovin  and  Pinterest  and also via email to myexpandingbookshelf@gmail.com.  Feel fre...
