Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten quotes from books I've read in the past year.

"Life isn't fair, it's just fairer than death, that's all."
The Princess Bride, William Goldman

"We accept the love we think we deserve."
The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chbosky

"She is Living and I'm Dead, but I'd like to believe we're both human. Call me an idealist."
Warm Bodies, Isaac Marion

"No, I'm not choosing him or you. I'm choosing me."
The Selection, Kiera Cass

"It breaks my hear the way young girls pick themselves over, never thinking they're good enough. You make sure you always remember, you're exactly the way you're supposed to be. Exactly. And anyone who says otherwise, well, poppycock."
Wallbanger, Alice Clayton

"There are darknesses in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights."
Dracula, Bram Stoker

"Who cares about pretty? I'm going for noticeable."
Divergent, Veronica Roth

"And this time, when the storm comes, instead of running from it, I'm going to face it head-on.  I hope it's ready for me."
Awaken, Meg Cabot

"Can someone tell me why our friend is vacuuming a coffee table while wearing sunglasses?"
Did I Mention I Love You?, Estelle Maskame

"Yes, what an ass, but I think we're talking about two different things."
Confessions of a Queen B*, Crista McHugh

  2. I'd forgotten about how awesome that quote was from The Selection - that was one of the only moments where I wanted to give America a high-five. I haven't read Awaken yet, but I really need to get around to it! Great choices :)

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
