Top Ten Tuesday: Rewind - Popular Authors I Haven't Read Yet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Tuesday rewind so go back and do a past topic you have missed. I've chosen a topic from way back in April 2014 and it is popular authors I haven't read (yet). These are all authors I definitely plan to read.

  2. Ooh, I read Stardust and found it thoroughly enjoyable, but otherwise I haven't read any of these authors neither. And Diana Gabaldon made my top ten list too.

  3. I've read one Lauren Oliver book but I liked it. And Richelle Mead has me curious with Vampire academy. I don't know, it just looks fun. Maybe because I saw the movie. And GRRM- I have read him. :)

  4. I've read all except for VE Schwab. And I do feel like maybe I'm missing out! So many people talk about her books!
I hope you enjoy these authors when you get around to reading them!

  5. I haven't read any of these authors either, with the exception of Diana Gabaldon. I read two of the books from the Outlander series years ago.

  6. I love Terry Pratchett. If you are intimidated by the size of Discworld, I recommend starting with Wee Free Men (the first in the Tiffany Aching YA subseries) which is my favorite. I did love Shiver by Stiefvater, but just read The Raven Boys and liked it.

Discussion: The Problem With My Local Library

I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school.  Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. And that wasn't an enjoyable experience. However, last summer I started going to my local library again. (I then had to stop again when I got my job.) And unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.  Source The availability sucks. I can deal with books I want that are already out on loan. It's the complete lack of decent books the library has on its system that gets to me. All those months I went to the library last year and I never left with a book that was already on my TBR. I walked around that place looking at my Goodreads trying to find any book on that list. And I couldn't find any at all (except for the Classics). To be honest, I ...
