I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school. Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. And that wasn't an enjoyable experience. However, last summer I started going to my local library again. (I then had to stop again when I got my job.) And unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. Yeah, that cleaning book attracted me too. I think it's the way the nonfiction narrative is written that makes it an entertaining book!

DeleteIt took me a year or two to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I normally read books much faster than that, so I've never tried them again.

DeleteI read the LoTR series and it was okay, but I'm not going to lie, I'm more a fan of the movies. Still glad I read them though... I wonder if I'd like them more on audiobook?
ReplyDeleteI think I'm a bit the same - prefer the movies but the books are a good read too. I might actually have them in audiobook somewhere so I might just have to try that as well.
