The Sunday Post (20 December)

Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I finally finished by Christmas shopping this week... I think... I'll probably still buy a few things that I really shouldn't. I also helped dad with his shopping too, which is earlier than usual for him. Really starting to get into the Christmas spirit now.

We have a brand new Costa in our town now and I am beyond happy! So I went for coffee with my brother's girlfriend and it was brilliant! I just love a sticky toffee latte!

I also had my works Christmas lunch/night out and it was really fun. As I'm still quite new, it was nice to socialise with staff from throughout the department and get to know everyone. And now, I only have 1 and a half days of work before I'm off until the 5 January! I can't wait to spend two weeks reading!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and that Santa is good to you too!

  2. I still haven't read Night Circus. I hope you enjoy that and This Is Where It Ends. Both seem like great novels. Congrats on finishing your Christmas shopping. My dad put me in charge of buying presents for siblings, and picking out presents for people honestly stresses me out. I think I'm going to do subscription boxes, because I think they're really neat and finding the right subscription box can actually be a really personal gift. Hope you have a great Christmas!

    1. I've stopped reading The Night Circus just now but I'll hopefully try it again soon. This Is Where It Ends isn't as good as what I hoped it would be. I hope you managed your shopping successfully and had a great Christmas too!

  3. Is this your first time reading The Secret Garden? I read it earlier this year for the first time and loved it.
    Merry Christmas to you.

Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I'd Love to Check in With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish .  This week's topic is the top ten characters you'd like to check in with.  I really struggled with this one, my brain just went blank and I couldn't really think of anyone besides pretty obvious choices.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is five books I'm looking forward to in the first half of 2017. Only five because I'm rubbish at planning ahead when it come to new releases.
