I've been off work on annual leave this week and I was expecting that I'd be able to get a lot of blogging and reading down... That didn't happen! I found something to do almost every day that took me away from reading. I've been spring cleaning, I've taken a walk up The Glens with the dog, I've had a wander round town with my mum, and spent time with my nephew. I also took a train to Glasgow for the day and just spent the whole time wandering around the shops. And came back with a little book haul thanks to the Sauchiehall Street and Argyle Street Waterstones stores... The Sauchiehall store is the biggest book shop in Scotland and I was in heaven!
I think I need the routine of my work day to keep me on track with my reading, because I can always get at least half an hour in before work.

It is so easy to let things distract us from reading, sigh. I do have "regular" times that I read during the day...when life doesn't get in the way, LOL. Have a good week.

ReplyDeleteI have the same conundrum when I go on my vacation. I have plans that doesn't come into fruition. But it's your break, so you're definitely allowed to deviate. :) Enjoy all the goodies you got. Especially that Nirvana book.
