The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This week’s Question:
If you could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

This is another tough question and I have to say that my answer would probably change every time I'm asked this but here we go.
  1. This week was the 9 year anniversary of my great-granda's passing so my first wish would be to have one more day with him as well as my great-granny for myself and my whole family.
  2. I have a couple of job interviews in the next few weeks so my second wish would be to do well in these and hopefully get offered the full-time job I would love allowing for me to work normal 9 to 5 hours and stop the late night/weekend shifts I currently work in a supermarket.
  3. My third wish is more "out there" (and I'm currently saving for it), I'd wish to go South Africa and see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and perhaps even do some voluntary work with an organisation such as Born Free.

  3. Good luck on the interviews. I love all your wishes. I guess I would wish to bring Cecil back. Your 3rd wish made me think of him and how much what happened broke my heart!

  5. I hope your job situation works out the way you want. And it would be amazing to go to South Africa to see all those beautiful animals.

Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I'd Love to Check in With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish .  This week's topic is the top ten characters you'd like to check in with.  I really struggled with this one, my brain just went blank and I couldn't really think of anyone besides pretty obvious choices.

Discussion: The Problem With My Local Library

I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school.  Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. And that wasn't an enjoyable experience. However, last summer I started going to my local library again. (I then had to stop again when I got my job.) And unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.  Source The availability sucks. I can deal with books I want that are already out on loan. It's the complete lack of decent books the library has on its system that gets to me. All those months I went to the library last year and I never left with a book that was already on my TBR. I walked around that place looking at my Goodreads trying to find any book on that list. And I couldn't find any at all (except for the Classics). To be honest, I ...
