Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten books on my Spring TBR (went slightly over 10...woops).
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1), Cassandra Clare
My Kind of Crazy, Robin Reul
Once Upon A Dream (A Twisted Tale #2), Liz Braswell
Then Comes Love, Lindsay Detwiler
Read Me Like A Book, Liz Kessler
Tragedy Girl, Christine Hurley Deriso
The Secret Countess, Eva Ibbotson
The Rose Petal Beach, Dorothy Koomson
Treasure Island and The Ebb-Tide, Robert Louis Stevenson
This Secret We're Keeping, Rebecca Done
Anything You Want, Geoff Herbach
Wild Swans, Jessica Spotswood
The Square Root of Summer, Harriet Reuter Hapgood
The Fault in Our Stars, John Green
I'm not too sure how this will go. I checked my autumn TBR and it didn't go too great. I only read 5 out of 10.
Feel free to leave a comment.
I've never read Treasure Island so that one kinda jumped out at me- I really should read it on one these days. And My Kind of Crazy and Wild Swans look good too.
ReplyDeleteI think I read a version of Treasure Island years ago... but can't really remember. I've wanted to read it for a while now. My Kind of Crazy wasn't what I'd hoped it would be, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Wild Swans.
DeleteYou can't go wrong with Robert Louis Stevenson!
ReplyDeleteHere's my list of what I hope to read this spring!
I definitely hope so anyway!
DeleteI hope you enjoy The Mortal Instruments series. Also, check out Cassandra's The Infernal Devices series.
ReplyDeleteI definitely enjoyed City of Bones, and it is such a struggle not to buy City of Ashes every time I see it. And I will definitely be reading The Infernal Devices too.
DeleteThe only book other than CoB that I have heard of is Fault in our Stars. And I have never really had the urge to read a John Green book. I don't think people are wrong for liking his books, they are just books that don't interest me.
ReplyDeleteMy last TBR didn't go so well either. Hopefully we'll both get through the books we want to read. Marie @ Pages to Explore
I just want to see what all the fuss is about really with John Green. I'm not sure if it will be my thing, but I'm going to give it a go.
DeleteWe better keep our fingers crossed that we manage our TBR's this time around.
I'm hoping to read Read Me Like A Book soon. I hope you enjoy these books! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I hope we both enjoy our books this time around.
DeleteI've been meaning to start the Mortal Instruments series for a while but I still haven't gotten around to it.I read The Fault in our Stars and really enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy it as well.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely read City of bones as soon as possible. It was so good! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I like The Fault in Our Stars as much as everyone else does.
DeleteI've been seeing The Wild Swans around a lot lately--it looks so good, and the cover is goooorgeous! Fingers crossed you enjoy these reads, when you get to them! Have a great rest of your day!
ReplyDeleteI really can't wait to read it now. And I agree the cover is beautiful, it's definitely what drew me in first.
