Book Beginnings is a meme hosted every Friday by Rose City Reader where you share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. Please remember to include the title of the book and the author’s name.
My book beginning is from Into The Darkness By Kira Adams (I finished this yesterday and haven't started anything new yet):
My Friday 56 is also from Into The Darkness by Kira Adams:

"This isn't what I expected of a top secret government facility. Actually, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but off white walls and reinforced metal doors were not on my list."
The Friday 56 is a meme hosted every Friday by Freda's Voice.
The Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that's ok.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don't spoil it)
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url.
*It's that simple.
My Friday 56 is also from Into The Darkness by Kira Adams:
"We've been outside for the better part of an hour now, fighting alongside one another in silence. It's not like there is a plethora of biters, I just don't know what to say."

Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?
Not that I can remember. But I rarely remember my dreams so I suppose it could be possible. Not sure if it could be considered reoccurring but I used have nightmares about volcanoes a lot when I was around 11. Which is weird as the only volcano I live near has been extinct for 443 million years! Talk about irrational fear!

Volcanoes! sounds dangerous! Old follower
ReplyDeleteThey terrified me when I was younger and still kinda do now. It's just a strange and irrational fear.
DeleteThanks for visiting!
It's funny how things we hear as a child can stay with us for life
ReplyDeleteI know, I can remember all sorts from my childhood yet I struggle to remember what I did last week these days.
DeleteThanks for visiting!
Thanks for visiting our blog earlier!
ReplyDeleteNew follower via GFC and Bloglovin :)
Thank you!
DeleteI don't think I've had recurring dreams either - unless you count winning the lottery - but that is more a wish than a dream. I'm on the linky if you want to visit. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI think that's a dream we all have haha!
DeleteSounds like you have an active imagination if you could dream so often about something you weren't really exposed to much as a kid. Neat answer! New follower via GFC.

I agree, thanks for visiting :)
DeleteThat is weird! Volcanoes? I'm sure there something behind it ....
ReplyDeleteI think they started around during the time I learnt of the extinct volcano. I may have also watched the film, Volcano, around that time too.
DeleteInteresting beginning! I guess I've worked with enough government contractors to expect all walls to be off white! The volcano dreams sounds terrifying!
ReplyDeleteIt is terrifying, thankfully I've not had one in years. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI'm very interested in The Darkness now that I've read your quote. I'll have to check it out and see if it's something I'd like. Check out my Friday 56!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a dream involving volcanoes, but I have had ones with tornadoes. I think it's just the slight possibility of them happening that gives us these dreams. Old follower.
DeleteCheck out my FF!
It's such a good book, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.
DeleteI think watching or reading about them doesn't help us either!
