Book Beginnings and The Friday 56 (13 March)

Book Beginnings is a meme hosted every Friday by Rose City Reader where you share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires.  Please remember to include the title of the book and the author’s name.

The Friday 56 is a meme hosted every Friday by Freda's Voice.
The Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that's ok.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don't spoil it)
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url.
*It's that simple.

Both my Book Beginning and my Friday 56 are from William Goldman's The Princess Bride.

My Book Beginning:
"This is my favourite book in all the world, though I have never read it."
My Friday 56:
"My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches."

  5. I have watched this movie so many times I can basically recite it but I'm not sure I ever read the book. I remember starting it but I'm not sure if I finished it. I'll definitely have to fix that!
