The Sunday Post (14 February)

Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

It's been another quiet week this week meaning I managed to read lots. When I wasn't reading, we had my Granny round for tea on Tuesday night. So it was a nice catch-up with her even if she does have a habit of telling us about the lives of distant relatives who I don't actually know.

On Thursday, it was a sad day in our house. It was 4 years since my wee man, Ozzie, was suddenly taken from us. A lot of people say that he was just a dog, but he was my mischevious wee rascal and was always looking for cuddles. He was thick as mince but I loved him and not a day goes by that I don't miss him.

  1. Nothing worse than losing a beloved pet. He looks like he was a great dog. I hope you have a good week.

  2. That's a tough anniversary, sorry to hear about your dog. :( Glad it was a good reading week. Nice post on libraries too- my local library is okay, they have a pretty good selection in some ways but I have trouble with new releases too, so I end up buying books. It would be nice if I could get more there and not have to buy them. :)

    1. Yeah, it was a tough week but we got through it.

Thank you very much! Rubbish library selection is the main reason I buy so many of my books too! it would be so much nicer (and cheaper) to borrow.

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway. Follow me via  Goodreads ,  Facebook ,  Bloglovin  and  Pinterest  and also via email to myexpandingbookshelf@gmail.com.  Feel free to leave a comment.
