The Sunday Post (27 November)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly of Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Back to work and it is officially freezing. On Monday it took a good 15 minutes to de-ice my car! And then because the water was frozen my windscreen just kept getting dirtier and dirtier. It was a nightmare! This carried on for the majority of the week too! I hate winter! So I have now invested in a windscreen cover to hopefully combat the ice.

I had a very busy week this week so I didn't get as much reading done as I'd hoped to. This has meant I've had to rearrange some of my blog posts too.

On Saturday, I had my first ever experience of bridesmaid dress shopping too. My cousin and I will be bridesmaids at our auntie's wedding next year. The shopping wasn't too bad either and the first dress we tried on was the one we chose. We even managed to get out shoes which will come in handy as we'll both need so much off the bottom of the dresses at alterations. Then on Saturday we had my brother and sister-in-law's housewarming party. A lot of prosecco was consumed and we all got very merry, to say the least.

  1. I'm very much a winter person and love the dark cold nights and extra reading time! But I agree it is not fun to get up early in icy conditions to head off to work. Brrr!

    1. I do like the extra reading time, but I absolutely hate the cold nights. I always have dozens of blankets out in winter haha!

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
