I used to use my local library all the time when I was in school. Source I even spent every lunchtime in my school's library. My friends and I were pupil librarians and we practically had the run of the whole library. And then, when I started University, the only library I had time for was the University library. And that wasn't an enjoyable experience. However, last summer I started going to my local library again. (I then had to stop again when I got my job.) And unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. Source The availability sucks. I can deal with books I want that are already out on loan. It's the complete lack of decent books the library has on its system that gets to me. All those months I went to the library last year and I never left with a book that was already on my TBR. I walked around that place looking at my Goodreads trying to find any book on that list. And I couldn't find any at all (except for the Classics). To be honest, I ...
The Pooh characters- great pick of Christopher robin. I'm still fond of those books. And Narnia too- I have fond memories of reading those growing up. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I just really want to know how growing up hanging around a bunch of talking woodland creatures would affect someone haha!
DeleteI too want to know what happened to Liesel from The Book Thief and The kids from The Chronicles of Narnia. I would love to see them all as adults and see if maybe their kids are now having similar adventures to what they experienced when they were young.
ReplyDeleteYes, it would be so interesting to see if the adventures would continue
DeleteI was so close to adding the Pevensies as well as Liesel to my list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog earlier! :)
It seems there has been a lot of that this week haha!
DeletePooh was on my list and I totally forgot about Narnia. Great choices!
ReplyDeleteYeah! You're the only other person I've seen with Pooh on their list!
DeleteI didn't make a TTT this week, but if I had, Liesel would've definitely been up there on the list! Nice choices.

I'd just be so interested to see how Liesel's experiences would have affected her as an adult.
DeleteLyra and the Pevensies were on my list too! Those were some of my childhood favorites, and I'd love to know how their lives are post-book.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT

Yes, I completely agree. It would be so interesting to see how they turn out.
DeleteIt would really be intriguing to see how Liesel got on in the future. Great choices. :-)
ReplyDeleteI know! Just seeing how the war affects her adult life would be wonderful to see.
DeleteLiesel was on my list this week too.
