Top Ten Tuesday: Series I Have Yet to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten finished series I have yet to finish. I have also chosen to limit myself to series that I actually own a few of.
Marked (House of Night #1)
I think I got up to Book 9 before I started university and almost stopped reading altogether.

Wallbanger (Cocktail, #1)
I think this series is finished, but I'm not actually too sure. Anyway, I've only read the first book and now own the second and can't wait to read it!

Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse, #1)
I think I'm up to the tenth book...

Jurassic Park
Okay, so there is only two books but I've been meaning to read The Lost World for years.

Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1)
I only have the last book to go!

The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events, #1)
I think I've read the first four and the tenth (don't ask why I missed a bunch), but I definitely plan on reading the ones I missed.

Inkheart (Inkworld, #1)
Again, I've only read Inkheart but I do definitely want to read the rest.

    1. I've been meaning to carry on with A Series of Unfortunate Events for years! Too many books and not enough time! Glad to hear you enjoyed Jurassic Park too - it's one of my favourites!

  3. A Series of Unfortunate Events is on my list too! I read a bunch all at once (9) and had to take a break that hasn't ended yet. What do you think of them?

    1. I think I just stopped because no one would buy them for me at the time. So definitely need to catch up!

  4. I loved A Series of Unfortunate Events! I also haven't finished House of Night. There are just so many books in that series. I hope you finish some of these series soon!

  5. I think A Series of Unfortunate Events is on a lot of lists this week. Probably because it's so long.
I see Inkheart a lot. I feel like there as so many MG series that I missed out on. Is it worth starting now?
And yes, you most definitely DO need to read Splintered. :) It's amazing.

    1. Yes, I have noticed they are on a lot of lists today! But it is so long. I think it's definitely worth starting MG series now - you never know what you could find!
I will add Splintered to my TBR right now haha!

  6. I love the Inkheart trilogy! It's a long time since I read them but I have, over the past year or so, bought them secondhand and I intend a binge reread before too long. They're such good books :')

    1. I know! I remember really enjoying Inkheart then the film kind of sucked so I didn't continue and now I wish I had.

    2. I've heard mixed reviews of the film but usually I steer clear of films of my favourite books -- they always seem to disappoint! But definitely return to Inkworld :)

    3. Yeah, I think the film is great if you haven't read the book. I'm the opposite if I read a great book, I have to go out and buy the film.

  7. There are a few of these that I haven't started but want to. We both had Sookie on our lists this week too! :P

  9. I loved the Sookie books, but I hated that ending. You might be better off not finishing that series. I really wish it had ended differently. I haven't finished House of Night either, but it didn't make my list because it's been so long since I read one of those books that I just forgot about the series entirely. Oops. It would be nice to see how that series plays out, but I'd have to go back and read from the beginning and I doubt I'll do that. Thanks for visiting Bookworm Book Reviews!

    1. I've heard that a lot about the Sookie books but I don't like not finishing a series unless I absolutely hate it. It's been years since I last read House of Night too but I really would love to go back to it at some point. Like you I will have to go back to the beginning.

  10. I loved The Series of Unfortunate Events! I hope you get to finish those books soon :) I certainly remember skipping around and picking up what was available at the library, so you aren't alone haha. It has been so long since I even thought about Eragon, but now that you mention it, I don't think I ever finished that series either! Great post and happy reading! :D

    1. It was always so hard to read Unfortunate Events in order! And it's been ages since I read Eragon so I will definitely have to try and reread.
      Thanks for visiting!

Feature and Follow (29 May)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
