Top Ten Tuesday: Hyped Books I Haven't Read... Yet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten hyped books I've never read. I could go on for days with this topic, I stopped reading altogether during my time at university and I'm trying to catch up now.
 The Fault in Our Stars
The Fault in Our Stars, John Green (Okay... so I'm starting this one today!)

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)

 Divergent (Divergent, #1)

 Confess

 The DUFF

 The Girl on the Train

Outlander (Outlander, #1)

 Red Queen (Red Queen, #1)

  1. I really enjoyed TFiOS, though I find it a bit over-hyped. It is a good book but I get so annoyed when people call it the best of YA, like other YA authors can't even be compared to Green. The first three books in TMI are AMAZING. The added three novels... not so much. I enjoyed The DUFF but I had some problems with it. Overall, it's not a bad book and it definitely has a positive message. The Girl on the Train is one of my favorites this year! I loved it so much, totally recommended. :)
Lovely list, hope you'll enjoy all of these. My TTT

    1. That's disappointing that you didn't like Divergent, it's so frustrating when a series starts off good then fizzles down.

  7. I really hope you enjoy The Fault in Our Stars! It's so good, though I enjoyed Looking for Alaska more. I definitely need to check out The DUFF as well. I'm going to be honest, I didn't much enjoy Divergent, though I loved the movie. However, the Insurgent book was AMAZING.

    1. I'm seeing a lot of disappointment from Divergent on this... I'm slightly wary now, but that won't stop me giving them a go.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Love Santa to Leave for Me

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is the top ten books I wouldn't mind Santa leaving under my tree. Really I'd welcome all books under the tree but these are ones that I've seen around a lot or recently.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of  Parajunkee’s View  and Alison of  Alison Can Read . Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! I'm one of the featured blogs this week! Along with Amanda of  The Darling Bookworm . This week’s Question: How many books have you got on your TBR list? I recently had a bit of a cull of my TBR list so now it is sitting at 269. I'm trying my hardest to get it below 200 by the end of the year but I really don't see it happening. I'd currently be happy if I managed to get it below 225. However, I did recently have a look through my TBR on Goodreads and deleted a few books that I don't think I will actually ever read - I'm not even to sure how they got there anyway.
