COYER Summer 2015 Challenge

COYER ScavHuntLogo-SignUp
I'm participating for the first time in The Clean Out Your E-Reads Challenge this summer, hosted by Fantasy is More Fun, Because Reading, and Books, Movies, Reviews.Oh My! You can stop by any of their blogs for the rules and information on how to sign up.

This summer COYER runs from June 20 to September 4, so plenty of time for reading. You can also read any book for the challenge, be it physical, e-book or audiobooks.

This is my very first challenge ever... so wish me luck!

My goals:
  • Read 10 of my owned physical books (I have 4 shelves full of books I haven't read so putting a dent in the number would be great).
  • Read 10 ARCs/ebooks and increase my Netgalley Approval Ratio.
  • Join the Scavenger Hunt and complete at least 10 of the items.
  • Participate in at least 2 of the read-a-thons.
  • Join in with some of the Facebook activities.
  • And lastly, I plan to join Twitter soon so if I get my head around it I will try to join at least 1 Twitter party.

My progress (to be updated as the challenge goes on):

Follow me via GoodreadsFacebookBloglovin and Pinterest and also via email to myexpandingbookshelf@gmail.com.

  1. It's my first time participating as well. I am not huge in the twitter-universe, only creating an account earlier this year. I feel like I am still learning how to use it correctly. I look forward to "seeing" you around.

    1. I hope we both do well with our goals then. I'm trying to find a quieter week to set up Twitter so that I can take my time. I look forward to seeing you too. :)

Book Beginnings is a meme hosted every Friday by  Rose City Reader  where you share the first sentence (or so) of the book you are reading, along with your initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires.  Please remember to include the title of the book and the author’s name.

Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I'd Love to Check in With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish .  This week's topic is the top ten characters you'd like to check in with.  I really struggled with this one, my brain just went blank and I couldn't really think of anyone besides pretty obvious choices.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2017

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish . This week's topic is five books I'm looking forward to in the first half of 2017. Only five because I'm rubbish at planning ahead when it come to new releases.
